Little Painting

To take my mind off things a bit I tried a paint by numbers which isnt the most creative think to do but I have never been very good at painting and hoped the structure might help a bit. I had tried a few as a child and they never looked half as good as I would have liked. After going through a number at the shop I found a cheapist smaller one that I liked.

Set up a little painting station the instructions were pretty easy to follow:

With the first layer of colours on this looked okish:

Finishing off

After I finished blocking the colour in by the instructions I then got rid of them and used the block colours as a base mixing a few paints and over painted everything again.

Not perfect but a lot better. And definetly one of the best painting I have produced:

I think I will try with another one of these again in the future. Well worth the £4 spent.
