Sunflower Embriodery

After a number of crossstitch projects I had a go at a “real” embroidery project. I last did was some ferns for my mother for Christmas. This had a number of french knots that acted as good practise to improve on.

Took a few weeks to do with a little break. Doing real embroidery did mean that I ended up stabbing myself with the needle a bit more than with the blunt needles of cross stitch.

I think it looks very good when done.
