Quick Thistle Bookmark

Did a quick sewing project this week and made a bookmark from a kit. I quite like these as simple projects normally only taking a few days, showing progress and giving me a nice and useful gift to give to someone.

Bookmark cross stitch kits were how I got back into cross stitch at the start of lockdown and are still a favorite project. I would like at some point to get some thread and Aida band and make my own design but havent yet found the subject/inspiration.

The kits come from heritage crafts that I have always found to be very good and will often have some back-stitch to bring out details.
